Glenna began Glenna Jean after the birth of her second baby from what she believed was as a lack of basic nursery decor. It seemed that bedding was only about function. At that time baby bedding bumpers were made from ugly plastic for clean up. Coordinating accessories were all but unheard of. With a desire for something very special for her little baby, Glenna created a beautiful nursery from printed sheets purchased at a department store. It did not take long, and the word of this unique nursery spread. Friends and neighbors requested for help with their nurseries began to amass, and in 1977 Glenna Jean was established. Glenna rapidly out grew the tiny workspace in her house and moved her new business into a small apartment and started what is today the oldest privately held infant baby crib bedding company in the U.S. and one of the most respected and appreciated brands in the infant bedding world.

When creating a nursery for both boys and girls, Glenna Jean uses wonderful colors and detailing to satisfy any new mother.
